The
East and West Branches
of the Silvermine
come together at
Browns Reservoir,
at the point where
New York State juts
eastward into Connecticut
near Bald Hill and
Kents Pond in Wilton.
The
West Branch arrives
from the north and
passes over an old
mill dam just before
entering the reservoir.
The East
Branch comes
down a steep slope
from the east, at
the end of Vista
Road. Just a mile
upstream, the East
Branch is joined
by Silver
Spring Brook.

Browns Reservoir,
Lewisboro, seen
from the north.
