Davis Pond

<< UPRIVER     (6)     NORWALK RIVER >>

Davis Pond, off James Street in Norwalk, is the last body of water the Silvermine River flows through before meeting the Norwalk River at Deering Pond, just below Perry Avenue in Norwalk. On the north side of the dam (to the right, when facing upstream) is an old fish ladder. Historical records are being kept on how many fish go up the Silvermine River using this ladder. Coming in from the west at this point is a small tributary, Silvermine Brook.
