Barretts Brook, Streets Pond
and the Wilton Town Forest

<< PREVIOUS     (2)     NEXT >>

Barretts Brook is the "far east" branch of the Comstock Brook, running parallel to the East Branch, but further to the east. It flows through Wilton's largest open space park, the Town Forest (north of Branch Brook Road), and then into Streets Pond, which is part of the local drinking-water supply system. A small stream, Mullens Brook, enters Streets Pond from the west.

(supposedly where sheep used to be washed)
at the northeast corner of the Town Forest.
