Woods Pond Brook is sandwiched between the Norwalk River on the west and Betts Pond Brook on the east. It begins just south of Bayne Street at the very northern edge of Norwalk and flows south to Allen Road, where it meets Betts Pond Brook.

The City of Norwalk currently has a small park on Woods Pond, and it is trying to negotiate the purchase of another 8 acres known as the Crosslands parcel.
