North Brook

BACK to Betts Pond Brook.

Norwalk's old land records refer to a "North Brook" that flowed north from a spring in "Marvins Swamp". These names have disappeared from modern maps, but they refer to a brook that still flows north from a wetland beside Andrews Field, an athletic stadium south of the County Mall, at the corner of Westport Avenue and County Street.

top point rose in panic from the wetland (where it had
been well hidden) when the previous photo was taken.
